This summer, our Manchester studio will be relocating to 55 King Street, found within the city's vibrant Central Business District. The studio will span the entire fifth floor of this iconic building, which has been a prominent feature on King Street for over 50 years.

Designed by Casson, Conder & Partners, 55 King Street was originally built for District Bank - which later became NatWest Bank. It has recently undergone a comprehensive remodelling by Orbit Developments, who have revitalised this unique asset to create a distinctive, energy-efficient workspace.

“We see 55 King Street as a great opportunity to locate our practice in the heart of the city, in a building that we have long admired. We identified this unique opportunity early on within Orbit's refurbishment programme, allowing us to create a bespoke environment and fit-out that directly responds to the needs of our team and culture. We aim to create a fabulous, new, contemporary setting complete with amenity which provides a springboard for ongoing creativity.”- Ian Simpson and Rachel Haugh.

Utilising our commercial expertise in the region, including No.1 Spinningfields, Two St. Peters Square, NOMA’s 5* NABERS-rated 4 Angel Square and, more recently, the retrofit of One Hardman Boulevard in Spinningfields, we are proud to be undertaking the interior design of our new studio space at 55 King Street.

We can’t wait to share more of the details over the next few weeks.
