With a significant number of apartments delivered or currently under development, we have a proven track record for creating thoughtfully designed build-to-rent homes that offer residents outstanding quality.

Our BTR portfolio across the UK includes developments in major city centres. The inclusion of high-quality amenity space is an invaluable asset within any build-to-rent development, as it can contribute to a more enjoyable and holistic living environment. Shared spaces - such as lounges, rooftop terraces, and co-working areas - serve as ideal settings for resident interaction, encouraging stronger social connections and fostering a sense of community.

These tailored environments not only enhance the tenant experience but also contribute to the overall wellbeing of residents, offering spaces that support both productivity and relaxation. When residents feel comfortable, safe, and supported - and are able to build meaningful relationships within their community - they are more likely to enjoy a great living experience and extend their tenancies over time.

Below we take a look at some of the major UK build-to-rent projects we have recently been working on.

Swan House, Manchester

Recently completed, Swan House is a high-quality development that forms part of the New Cross Neighbourhood Development Framework. As a build-to-rent scheme, it supports the ongoing regeneration of Manchester City Centre by providing 373 apartments in a range of 1-bed, 2-bed, and 3-bed configurations. These new homes are complemented by a generous amount of amenity space for residents.

Amenities include co-working spaces, residents’ lounges, private dining room, cinema room, workout studio, focus booth, podcast room, and a terrace. Tailored environments have been created to offer residents a variety of experiences - from individual workspaces to areas where they can relax with friends.

Sparkle Street, Manchester

The proposals for this scheme are for a new build-to-rent development that will bring life back to a currently discussed site in Manchester. Situated directly adjacent to Manchester Piccadilly train station, the disused site presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the city’s growth as well as provide much needed new homes in the city centre.

The proposals envision the development of 359 residential homes within a 10-28 storey building, complemented by townhouses that activate the streetscape and knit into the surrounding area. There will also be extensive residential gardens and a new street frontage enhancing the overall area. The resident amenities are designed to promote relaxation and wellbeing, while fostering a strong sense of community.

Victoria Road, London

Located in North Acton, Victoria Road comprises two elegantly designed towers that rise to 17 and 31 storeys, linked by a unifying 4-storey podium. The scheme will create 59 build-to-rent apartments within the 17-storey tower, alongside the 609 student beds provided within the 31-storey tower, contributing a bold and dynamic presence to the evolving skyline.

The accommodation will be complemented by exceptional amenities aimed at encouraging social interaction, fostering a sense of community, and connecting residents to greenspaces integrated within the scheme. In addition to significant enhancements to the public realm, dedicated gardens for both the student and residential towers offer outdoor spaces for informal gatherings and relaxation.

D1 Tower, Trinity Islands, Manchester

Rising to 60 storeys, the second tower at Trinity Islands, which is currently on site, is set to provide 532 BTR homes. The majority of each site that makes up Trinity Islands is given over to the creation of new public realm, increasing public amenity and biodiversity along the river. Exemplary health and wellbeing facilities are planned for residents, along with homeworking and social space.

The designs also include a mixture of retail and leisure uses within the ground floors to create active frontages that will bring new activity and vibrancy into the area.

North & West Towers, Deansgate Square, Manchester

North and West Towers, two of the four distinctive buildings within the Deansgate Square development, have introduced over 800 new Build-to-Rent apartments, significantly contributing to the regeneration of the area. Once a public car park, the site has been completely transformed into a vibrant residential hub.

The resident facilities at Deansgate Square, which can be accessed by residents of both North & West Tower residents, are unparalleled for a residential scheme in Manchester. A host of communal spaces for residents to enjoy including residents’ lounge, gym, sports hall, tennis court, swimming pool, sauna, yoga studio, private dining, and a roof-top garden.
