We’re thrilled that Manchester City Council has granted planning permission for our proposals which deliver circa 22,000 sq m of Grade A space at 4 Angel Square. The decision marks another major milestone for NOMA, the 20-acre mixed-use neighbourhood in central Manchester. Due to complete in the summer of 2022, the approved scheme features a hotel-style entrance lobby and reception area, a 10th floor roof terrace and two ground-floor retail spaces, together with a separate ground-floor office suite, which will help activate the ground floor and encourage pedestrians to engage with the NOMA neighbourhood.

Paul Pavia, head of development at MEPC, said:

“Yesterday's planning approval for 4 Angel Square marks the next step in the creation of a new business district within the NOMA neighbourhood. The decision will also help unlock 2 and 3 Angel Square and bring forward much needed high quality office space."

The scheme will make a positive contribution to the ongoing development within NOMA and will provide much needed high quality workspace in the city centre. We’re excited to be involved and look forward to seeing the scheme progress to site.
