Becoming an Architect is no simple feat, which is why we would like to recognize two of our team members, Vsevolod and Linxin, who have put in the time and effort to complete their Part III exams successfully.
Here's what they had to say about the experience and how they celebrated this achievement.
Vsevolod Karetnikov, Architect
"Part 3 took a lot of dedication, but was also rewarding. I was given plenty of advice throughout the process by my peers and colleagues, and I think the single best piece of advice I received is to take your time. Part 3 is as stressful as you want it to be and this is only exaggerated if you try to speed through it.
To celebrate my success we had a team lunch and I met up with some of my friends who I haven’t seen in a long time."
Linxin Li, Architect
“Part III was very fulfilling- there’s great satisfaction in learning so much in such a short period of time, and it also allows for a more practical and in-depth understanding of what we have to look forward to as registered Architects. It can also be very intense and demanding, time and stress management skills are a must have as you need to plan efficiently and be proactive to finish successfully.
I celebrated becoming an architect with a trip to NYC to see the most recent architecture that’s been built there and am planning to have a dinner with family and friends very soon now that I have the time!”
