Winners are announced at the BCO Northern Awards ceremony in Manchester on 3rd May. If the project wins the regional award, it will then be put forward for the National BCO Awards, the ceremony for which is in October.

One of the primary objectives for the awarding authority, BCO (British Council for Offices), is to define excellence in office space. Their annual awards programme provides public recognition for top quality design and functionality and a benchmark for excellence in workplaces. The programme acknowledges innovation and focuses public attention on examples of best practice.

Two St Peter’s Square is an elegantly crafted office building that completes the revitalisation of St Peter’s Square and Manchester’s civic heart, addressing three of the city’s most important civic and historic buildings: the Grade I and II* listed buildings of the Town Hall, the Town Hall Extension and the Central Library. It offers 510 sq m of retail space and 18,116 sq m of high quality, BREEAM ‘Excellent’ Grade A office space across 12 floors. Global services firm EY is one of the major tenants, and Wagamama is the current retail occupier.
