We're pleased to announce that two of our schemes in Manchester City Centre, One Hardman Boulevard and Sparkle Street, have received planning approval. We're thrilled to see both schemes reach this important milestone and to be collaborating with our clients on such exciting schemes. Further details on each project are provided below.
One Hardman Boulevard, Manchester
The proposals for client Parthena Reys' One Hardman Boulevard seek to breathe new life into one of the city's largest office buildings, contributing to the continued revitalisation of the Spinningfields area. The building will be re-launched as The Metropolitan.
The property is set to undergo a comprehensive redesign and refurbishment creating high-quality and desirable office accommodation with sustainability at the forefront of operations. The development will feature floorplates of 39,000 sq. ft and includes a roof terrace. The existing atrium is to be transformed by 'cutting' out pockets to bring more light into the deep floorplates whilst creating amenity and garden spaces forming a 'Village Square' at the heart of the building. The ground and first floors will provide spaces for informal engagement and promoting healthy working environments that will foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Sparkle Street, Manchester
Developed for Central & Urban and JRL Group, Sparkle Street is a new high-quality build-to-rent development that will bring life to a disused site in the city centre.
The proposals envision the development of 359 residential homes within a 10-28 storey building, complemented by townhouses that activate the streetscape and knit into the surrounding area. The plans also include extensive residential gardens and a new street frontage, enhancing the overall area. The residential amenities are designed to promote relaxation and wellbeing, while fostering a strong sense of community.
