Salford’s new independent Design Review Forum has confirmed the appointment of its members. Partner Nick Owen will be amongst the professionals working to champion the highest standard of design across new developments within Salford.
Led by Chair Stephen Gleave and Vice Chair Ernst ter Horst, the forum brings together a total of 37 members with huge levels of expertise across the built environment professions. The forum will collaborate with the development industry to provide early-stage, independent advice that will help shape better places for the city - prioritising placemaking, climate resilience, accessibility, and architectural integrity.
This marks a major step forward in embedding design excellence into Salford’s planning process and ensuring new developments reflect the ambition and character our communities deserve.
Having worked within Greater Manchester for over 35 years, we’re proud to see Nick amongst those appointed to this important initiative.
Further information, about the Forum can be found on the Salford City Council website.
